Capoeira classes in Newtown Sydney are held on Thursday nights.

Capoeira Newtown classes are held at the St Stephens church hall, just off the main street of Newtown, King Street. It is a lovely location surrounded by a large park where we often have outside training sessions and rodas.

The hall itself is a large hall with a smooth wood surface. It has it’s own kitchenette and close by toilets.

After a hard training session, we often head down to King street to partake in some of the many fine restaurants Newtown has to offer.

Interestingly, the hall is also used by other groups such as the bell Shakespeare company for their rehearsals of the Opera house production of Pericles in mid 2009
